Join Rambling Fever Travel for a fun-filled day of history from the Holy Land and Appalachia as we head to Pikeville, KY. We will tour the beautiful historic York House which houses the world class Khirbet El-Maqatir Exhibit where you will discover over 250 artifacts from ancient Israel and Jordan. Our guide will explain how these precious objects were found and the story behind them. Next, we will enjoy a delicious Italian buffet lunch at Chirico’s Restaurant, located in the historic McCoy House. After lunch, we will have an opportunity to shop at a few unique downtown stores. Next, our step-on guide will join us to the Dils Cemetery—resting place the McCoys and a few Hatfields. We will also see the historic Pike County Courthouse, visit the Big Sandy Heritage Museum, and the scenic Pikeville Cut-Through Project.
