Ralph Hensley

1939 — 2018

Ralph Hensley, 79, of Germantown, OH passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center.

Mr. Hensley was born May 26, 1939 in Hyden, KY to the late Seldon and Carmol Morgan Hensley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mike Hensley, a grandson, Shawn Caldwell, and a brother, Herrell Hensley.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Kay Sturgill Hensley; two sons, James Litteral and wife Alma of Martha, KY, and Harold Hensley of Germantown, OH; four daughters, Deanna Caldwell and husband Ralph of Hyden, KY, Sherry Lawson and husband Charles of Germantown, OH, Sheila Higgins and husband Danny of Carlisle, OH, Shelly Sullivan and fiance David Gardner of Franklin, OH; two sisters, Bernie Callahan of Hazard, KY and Bobbie Jean Vance of Hyden, KY; one brother, James Young of Mt. Olivet, KY; and one brother-in-law, Donnie Sturgill of Paintsville, KY. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two very special friends, Jeremy and Rachel Wheeler.

Mr. Hensley was a retired body shop owner.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Sturgill and Rev. Keith Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in the Sturgill Cemetery at Martha, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, June 20 after 5:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
