Program seeks to connect students with Kentucky employers

Good morning – as a reminder, the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center’s 2021-2022 Bus to Business program kicks off today. Students will be able to participate in a virtual meet and greet with Gray Construction in Lexington.

The program seeks to connect students with Kentucky employers and educate them on future job opportunities and career pathways in the commonwealth. This is especially important considering the state’s workforce crisis and the Chamber’s recently released report detailing the many factors that have led Kentucky becoming one of the states with the lowest workforce participation rates nationwide.

By getting more students excited about potential career opportunities from a younger age, the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center and its Bus to Business partners hope to make a positive impact in building and strengthening our talent pipelines in all industries.

I’m happy to connect you with Chamber representatives/program participants for interviews if you’re interested in covering.

Thanks for considering,

Kathryn Parrish
