Pre-registration for Spring 2022 classes opens October 1

Registration for Spring 2021 classes opens October 1. Classes are set to begin January 10.
While full semester classes run through May 6, bi-term classes are eight-weeks long, half the length of traditional semester classes but with the same content as semester-long classes.
Incoming students should apply for admission. The online application can be found by visiting https://ashland.kctcs.edu/admissions/start-your-application/
To register for classes, students can call the Welcome Center at 326-2040 to schedule an appointment with their advisor.
PTK seeking runners for Scholar Dash 2021
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Alpha Omega Gamma Chapter at ACTC is looking for runners to join PTK’s Kentucky regional team for a virtual 5K run/walk.
This safe and healthy competition will help raise funds to assist students in joining the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Funds raised will go toward the Golden Opportunity Scholarship, PTK’s fee waiver designed to increase access to the benefits of membership by helping students pay the membership fee when they simply cannot afford it.
“The PTK Scholar Dash Virtual 5K is a perfect event for our students, faculty, staff and community at this time, because we can avoid some of the risks that come with an in-person 5K,” said Janet Thompson, PTK advisor. “These funds support an important scholarship to help students pay registration fees to join the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society when it could otherwise be a hindrance. We are definitely looking forward to get these steps in to support our students.”
Virtual 5K registration costs $30 and will come with a commemorative pin and t-shirt.
Participants will commit to do their 5K at their own location/leisure before the Sept. 25 deadline.
