Porter William Pyle

1939 — 2017

Porter William Pyle, 77, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Pyle was born October 31, 1939 in Chillicothe, Ohio a son of the late Curtis and Marguarite Hirn Pyle. Porter retired from the United States Air Force where he served as an air traffic controller, and served his country honorably. He was a member of the Louisa Church of God.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Phyllis Pyle of Louisa, Ky.; four daughters, Penny Littleton (Darrell) of Morehead, Ky.; Christina Law (Paul) of Portland, TN; Toni Stark (Scott) of Omaha, NE; Kelly Prichard (Kent) of Morehead, Ky.; one son, David Pyle of Morehead, Ky.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, June 2, 2017 at Louisa Church of God with Pastor Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Greenup, Ky.

Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Louisa Church of God, Louisa, Ky.
