COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Tough week this week. We knew it going in with four games scheduled against good competition.”

“… Battled two other 14th region contenders earlier in the week Hazard and Wolfe County. Both very well coached and talented teams. Knott Central is right there with them.”

“… I’ve always believed in playing tougher schedules to prepare our teams for post season play. And the last 3 weeks here we are certainly going to be challenged.”

“… It was great to see Eli Fletcher and Talan Pollack explode tonight and lead the way offensively”

“… I can’t say enough good things about both. They have been on fire all year. Happy for both – it’s great to see kids play at a high level and have fun enjoying the fruits of their labors.”

“… Logan Whisenant and Eli Fletcher out of the bullpen tonight did a fabulous job of just challenging the strike zone and give our defense a chance to make plays.”

“…Talan Pollack is absolutely on fire right now.

“… It was so good to see Braxton Davis go out and give us a championship type effort.”

“… And we had several quality ABs up and down the lineup that some of the guys didn’t have a lot to show for it – East Carter’s OF flat out ran some balls down in the gaps.”
