STABBING ATTACK ON HIS UNCLE, LEAVES VICTIM WITH MULTIPLE WOUNDS
ALTERCATION HAPPENED AFTER VICTIM WENT TO THE HOME OF HIS NEPHEW AND CONFRONTING HIM FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING HIS TRUCK

THE STABBING NEPHEW: JEREMY L. JOHNSON, 40, OF MOUTHCARD, KY., WAS ARRESTED FOR THE TOP FELONY ASSAULT CHARGE AFTER HE REPORTEDLY STABBED HIS UNCLE SEVERAL TIMES DURING A CONFRONTATION OVER A STOLEN TRUCK.
A Pike County man was arrested at the end of this past weekend after police officials said he stabbed his uncle multiple times.
It happened around 6 P.M., Sunday, January 29, when the uncle went to the home of his nephew, identified by the Kentucky State Police Post 9 as Jeremy L. Johnson, 40, of Mouthcard, KY. to retrieve a pickup truck the uncle claimed had been stolen from him.
The uncle told police when he knocked on the door, Johnson punched through the screen door at him. The uncle then tried to get away, but he said Johnson knocked him to the ground and began punching and kicking him, and then began stabbing him in the back.
The man sustained stab wounds to his upper back, the back of his head and the interior of his right ear. Police noted that there was blood outside of the home, but not inside.Jeremy Johnson was arrested by KSP trooper Nicholas Taylor on the charge of:
* ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE. Jeremy Johnson was also served a Pike County court bench warrant for
* FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT; and also a court bench warrant from Warren County, KY for the charge of
*FALURE TO APPEAR.
Jeremy Johnson was transported to and remains in the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville, where he is being held on a $50,000 full cash bond for the first degree assault charge, and an additional $1,025 full cash bond on the Failure To Appear warrant from Warren County.
