Phyllis Jean Bentley went to her heavenly home on December 26, 2021.

Phyllis was born to Winford and Goldie Burchett on January 27, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gordon Bentley; precious grandson James Eric Bentley; two infant brothers Winford and Ralph; brothers Elemer Burchett, Bill Burchett, and sisters Eva Colvin, Sue Guthrie, Mary Love, and Edia Longworth.

She is survived by two daughters Joyce Bevins Stapleton and Linda Bentley, both of Louisa; son Gary (Debbie) Bentley of Louisa; three grandchildren Matt (Danielle) Adkins, Charlie (Katelyn) Bentley and Michelle (Josh) Childers, all of Louisa; six great grandchildren Layne Bentley, Dax Childers, Finn Childers, Carson Adkins, Carolyn Adkins, and River Bentley; two sisters Rosie McMillian and Freda (Mark) Laney; brother John (Peggy) Burchett; and a host of nieces and nephews as well as adopted kids and grandkids.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bentley will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bentley Family Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Bentley and her family.
