LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – NOVEMBER 9-15, 2016

ARRESTS WERE AT NEARLY IDENTICAL  NUMBERS FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN BOTH LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THE OTHER COUNTIES THAT USE THE REGIONAL JAIL. IT IS APPARENT NOW IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS THAT THE WEEKDAY ARREST NUMBERS THAT ARE AVERAGE OR ABOVE AVERAGE ARE BEING SKEWERED LOWER STATISTICALLY BY WAY BELOW AVERAGE ARREST NUMBERS FOR WEEKEND DAYS OF SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AND THAT IS ADDING TO THE FACT ALSO IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS A FIFTH COUNTY, MORGAN COUNTY, HAS BEEN SENDING A LOT MORE OF THEIR ARREST PRISONERS TO THE BSRDC IN PAINTSVILE THAT THEY HAVE TRADITIONALLY DONE IN THE PAST.

ARRESTS WERE BELOW NORMAL WEEKLY AVERAGE IN LAWRENCE COUNTY; FOR THE SURROUNDING AREA COUNTIES, ARRESTS WERE BELOW THEIR WEEKLY AVERAGE WHEN COMPARED TO EARLIER THIS YEAR. FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKENDS, THE ARREST NUMBERS FOR LAWRENCE COUNTY AND ESPECIALLY THE OTHER COUNTIES THAT USE THE REGIONAL JAIL HAVE BEEN DROPPING TO PALTRY LEVELS. THERE WAS ONLY 12 ARRESTS TOTAL IN A FOUR (OR FIVE) COUNTY REGION SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12 TO NOVEMBER 13, WITH JUST TWO OF THOSE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY (COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND TIME PERIOD OF NOVEMBER 4 TO 8 THERE WAS ONLY 22 ARRESTS IN A FOUR OR FIVE COUNTY REGION, WITH JUST TWO OF THOSE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY).

From 12:01 A.M., November 9, 2016 to 11:59 P.M., November 15, 2016; 77 arrested individuals were brought into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of the 77 arrested individuals brought to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in the last 7 days, 8 were from Lawrence County.
