ONE TRANSPORTED TO TRMC AFTER REAR ENDER AT GEORGE’S CREEK

GEORGE’S CREEK, KY. –On July 11, 2018 at approximately 6:23 pm Lawrence County 911 received a call of a motor vehicle collision on Right Fork of Georges Creek Road.

The church van involved in the accident was damaged in the rear end. (PHOTO COURTESY MIKE WOODS LC EMER. MGT.)Upon arrival it was found that Sylvia Miller, of Louisa was traveling West
on the roadway in a 2013 Nissan and did not see a church van driven by
Anna Childers, of Louisa stopped in a driveway to pick someone up.

Miller’s car ran into the rear of the van. No one was injured on the van
but a passenger in Miller’s car was transported to Three Rivers Medical
Center by Netcare Ambulance. The name and age of the injured person was not listed in the report.

Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Wheeler is in charge of the investigation.

Also responding was Lowmansville Fire Department and Lawrence Co. Emergency Management.

 

The 2013 Nissan involved in the crash had extensive damage.
