NEW Big Sandy Relay For Life event set for Sept. 8
We are trying to spread the word about our NEW Relay For Life event and hope you can help! This year, with so many changes within the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life and community involvement, many counties have decided to forgo having a county/community event.
We did not want that to happen here, so we have joined forces to create one big regional event, ONE REGION – ONE REASON! Teams, members, survivors, caregivers, friends, family, loved ones from Floyd, Pike, Johnson, Martin, Magoffin, Lawrence and Letcher counties have been invited to join us.
We are still in the agenda planning stages for the night, but we have some things already nailed down.
There will be a cornhole tournament, jail and bail, duck pond game, minute to win it games, pie eating contest and more! We will also have some live entertainment, such as Troy Burchett, and an area for vendors to set up. Vendors are not charged a fee to set up, we just ask that they donate 10% of proceeds made that night back to our Relay event.
A final agenda will be released as soon as we have everything completely confirmed. I have attached a copy of our event poster and the sponsorship letter, as we are still looking for sponsors for the event as well. If you need further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

This year’s event is bringing together people on September 8th!
