Norma Jean Chiarenzelli

1948 – 2017

Norma Jean Perry-Chiarenzelli, 68 of Paragould, Arkansas formerly of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away peacefully Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home in Paragould and is now at rest in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

She was born on September 13, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Walter and Jean Preston-Perry. Norma was retired from the Wayne County Schools as well as the Paragould School System where she was a Pre-School Teachers Aide. She was a member of the Gideon’s International Auxiliary and she and her husband Bob attended the Eastside Baptist Church in Paragould and the Louisa First Baptist Church in Louisa.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Chiarenzelli was preceded in death by one brother Walter Michael “Mike” Perry on December 27, 2016.

Norma leaves behind a loving and devoted family including her husband of nearly 43 years Robert “Bob” Chiarenzelli of Paragould, Arkansas; two sons Robert “Rob” (Sarah) Chiarenzelli of Huntington, West Virginia and Evan Chiarenzelli of Cincinnati, Ohio; five brothers Tony (Marylin) Perry of Fort Gay, Randy (Lisa) Perry of Huntington, Herb (Harriet) Perry of Fort Gay, Dennis (Rhonda) Perry and Loren (Tracy) Perry both of Wayne; one aunt Wilma Wetherall of Barboursville as well many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at the Louisa First Baptist Church on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastors Ric Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at the Chiarenzelli Family Cemetery in Fort Gay, West Virginia. Pallbearers will be her brothers Tony, Randy, Herb, Dennis and Loren with Mike being an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the Young Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
