New Louisa Business, Second Chance Auto, being featured at 2019 KY Workforce Summit!

Addiction Recovery Care would like to announce the grand opening of Second Chance Auto to the community. Second Chance Auto is a full-service garage that prides itself in offering the highest quality of automotive repair and customer service, located at 59 Watermelon Hill Road in Louisa, KY.

Second Chance Auto began as a vocational training opportunity for clients of Addiction Recovery Care’s treatment programs for those affected by substance use disorders. CEO and Founder Tim Robinson designed the program to provide both maintenance for company vehicles and hands-on job training for clients, with a fleet of over 50 vehicles. The garage then opened its services to ARC employees. Now, in its third phase of development, Second Chance Auto is openings its doors to the public.

As a “second chance” employer, Second Chance Auto is providing the opportunity of a career for a population that often has trouble securing employment. Most people in recovery have a hard time finding a job due to poor job history and possibly a criminal background. Second Chance Auto is giving individuals an opportunity to move past all of that, ultimately changing their lives for the better.

The garage is managed by Jon Storms and James Keeton. When asked what they thought about the grand opening, both men had great feedback. Keeton stated, “I’m excited about Second Chance Auto’s grand opening, not just because Louisa is gaining a great business, but because they are also gaining great people who will be working in the community.”  Jonathan Storms followed up with, “I have always heard if you find a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. It is a blessing to work in a field you are passionate about.”

Services include oil change, brakes, tune-ups, air conditioning service and repair, steering and suspension, transmission service, diagnostics, alignments, cooling system servicing, tires and wheels, balancing, front- and rear-end differential service, shocks and struts service, and more.

Bring your vehicle by today for a free estimate or call ahead at 606.259.4214. Operating hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM and closed on Sundays. We cannot wait to meet you!
