Nellgene Crabtree Dolbear, 76, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Nellgene was born on December 8, 1945 in Louisa, KY to the late James Loar and Cella (Peck) Crabtree. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dave Dolbear; sister June Dean; and brothers Lake Crabtree, Bill Crabtree, JD Crabtree and Dick Crabtree.

Nellgene was a member of the Tabors Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons Bruce Prater and Brian (Crystal) Prater; grandchildren Robin and Mindy; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will  be conducted Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Tabors Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Denny Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Tabors Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Dolbear and her family.
