Nancy Darlene Reichert Scarberry, 89, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her home.

Nancy was born September 9, 1933 in Columbus, OH to the late William and Melvina Reichert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Reichert of Columbus, OH and Jack Reichert of Virginia Beach, VA.

Nancy worked 25 years as a home healthcare worker; at Jacoboons Department Store until they closed in 2007, and then Macy’s until she retired in 2009. She also volunteered at First Community Church Trading Post.

Nancy is survived by her husband Daniel Scarberry, Sr. She had three step sons: Daniel Scarberry, Jr. and his late wife Karen, Richard and wife Rita Scarberry, and David and wife Marshalene Scarberry; two nephews Chuck and wife Sherry Reichert and Mark Reichert; and a host of loving step grandchildren that adored her.

We are blessed to have had the opportunity to love and care for this amazing woman that spent her with compassion and caring for others.
