THE DECEASED: RYAN JASON MARCUM, 36, OF INEZ, KENTUCKY.
Officials in Martin County, Ky. have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body of a man in a tent.  
 
Martin County Coroner Chris Todd confirmed a man’s body was found Wednesday evening on Buck Creek Mountain along Route 40.  
 
Coroner Todd identified the deceased man as Ryan Jason Marcum, 36, of Inez. Todd officially declared Ryan Marcum dead at 7:52 P.M.on Wednesday.
 

Ryan Marcum was found inside a tent along a hillside. The cause of his death was not released.

The coroner said Ryan Marcum’s body will be sent today (Thursday) to Frankfort to the state medical examiners office for an autopsy.

The Kentucky State Police and the Martin County Coroners office are in charge of the death investigation.

    Lately, when I open a link such as this one, the pictures aren’t showing for me. It just says image.png. Images do show on the home page. I’m using the safari browser on an iPhone.

      Sometimes it takes a while for the pics to show up but they are showing up o0n my pages. I’m not used to this computer I’m using after the fire burned my MAC, so give me a couple weeks to get another i-MAC and it will be back to normal. I have one ordered but apparently everyone else in the country has one ordered, too!

        I can’t imagine losing everything like that. Especially a beloved pet. I’m just so thankful that you and your wife made it out without injury. Your doggy is definitely a hero.
