Myrtle Prince, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at her home.

Myrtle was born July 19, 1936 in Pike County, KY to the late Kelly and Della (Music) Mills.

Myrtle was a retired charge aide from the Jordan Center. She liked to quilt, garden, can and singing in church. She was a member of Fallsburg Tabernacle Church and many other local churches.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Byrd Prince, Jr.; nine sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include her children Dianne Lynn (Richard James) Raylor of Witherin Sea, England, Larry Prince of Lawrence County, OH, Cecil (Mary) Prince of Bolts Fork, KY, Sammy Prince of Van Lear, KY, and James (Sharmane) Prince of Fallsburg, KY; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; adopted children Beverly (Scott) Moss, Kimberly Sue Prince-Bonomo, and Donna Prince, all of Chicago, IL; 9 adopted grandchildren; 3 adopted great grandchildren; and 5 adopted great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Fallsburg Tabernacle Church with Brother Larry Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Prince Family Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fallsburg Tabernacle Church.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Prince and her family.
