MUSTANGS TAKE OVER MAIN STREET, LOUISA, KENTUCKY…

By Susan Salyer

‘Backroads of Appalachia’ made a stop for lunch at the Garden Theater downtown  Main Street and approx. 80 Shelby Mustangs covered the block in front of the Lawrence County Courthouse. A nice crowd gathered to watch the Ford Shelby Mustangs gather and display their prized cars.

‘Backroads of Appalachia’ is a non-profit organization with a passion and empathy for the Appalachian Region, driving economic development, job training and opportunity to the poverty stricken areas of Appalachia through tourism and motorsports.

Steve Spangler is with Red Mirror Events And Apparel. Lawrence County Tourism and Erik Hubbard with ‘Backroads of Appalachia’ promoted the event in Lawrence and Boyd County, Kentucky, Wayne and Mingo Counties of WV; LC Tourism Chairman, Wes Kingsmore said today.

Thank you LC Tourism!
