Murland Lee “Pete” Levering 

1943 — 2017

Murland Lee “Pete” Levering 74, of Louisa passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Saint Mary’s Medical Center. 

Mr. Levering was born February 18, 1943 in McGuffey, OH to the late James Kenneth and Cora (Neely) Levering. He was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie (Burchett) Levering, three daughters: Wanda Savage and husband, Jack of Louisa, KY, Cora Little and husband, George of Louisa, KY and Amanda Levering and fiancé, Jeremey Deskins of Louisa, KY, two sons: James Michael Levering and wife, Kathy of Louisa, KY and Danny Lee Levering and wife, Angela of Ashland, KY, one sister: Betty Phipps of Louisa, KY and one brother, Gordan Levering of TX; He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Levering was a retired truck driver and member of Bradley Gap FWB Church. 

Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 31 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Workman and Rev. Jim Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Burchett Cemetery. 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, December 30 from 6-9pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
