MOREHEAD, Ky.—Gary Fletcher opened his first No Limits Fitness Center in Louisa in November of 2015. Fletcher with business partner Melissa Slone then opened his second location in Paintsville in August 2016.

Both locations received business startup assistance from Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center in Paintsville.

Fletcher has since gone on to open two other locations in Inez (February 2017) and Prestonsburg (November 2017). Fletcher has created more than 20 jobs in the four-county area.

“The Small Business Development Center is a wonderful, free resource which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to start and grow their business. They are there before and after opening your business. It is a great resource and I highly recommend them,” said Fletcher.

All No Limits Fitness Center corporate members have 24-hour access to all locations. If you’re traveling you can conveniently visit any location. They offer discounted packages to local businesses as groups and to first responders.

The company is a member of the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and offer health conscious programs like Boot Camp and Cross Training to promote the health and well-being of those in Floyd, Johnson, Lawrence, Martin and surrounding counties. They also offer group training and one-on-one training with personal trainers and health coaches.

No Limits Fitness Center’s regularly donates to Casting for Kids, Johnson Central High School basketball and football teams, Paintsville football team, Lawrence County basketball and football teams, local golf clubs, Shriners and other charities. The company’s locations have hosted events such as a 5K run to raise money for Veterans and most recently a Bench Off, which raised money for local fallen state trooper Scotty Hamilton’s family.

“Small business owners like Fletcher and Slone make our job so worthwhile. Highlighting outstanding entrepreneurs that make a significant impact in our communities is one of the best parts of my job,” said Spriggs. “This designation is given to entrepreneurs like Fletcher and Slone who take risks, make sacrifices and achieve their dreams while doing so. They are the fundamental force which drives Kentucky’s economy and we applaud them.”
