Moncie O. Kiser, 94, of Zephyrhills, FL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023 at her home.  Moncie was born November 27, 1928 in Louisa, KY to the late Wayne and Mallie (Lemaster) Maynard.

Moncie was a very adventurous woman. She left home at 16 and moved out of state on her own. At the age of 19, she married Frank Kiser and they were married 54 years, until his passing in 2002. She loved being around her family and she loved to cook for them. She took pride in being a homemaker, and making sure her family was well taken care of. She enjoyed taking care of herself and made sure she stayed active. Later in life, she became an animal lover.

Moncie was a member of Zephyrhills Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Kiser; brothers Edward Maynard, Russell “Bill” Maynard, and Don Maynard; and sisters Martha Derifield and Juanita Huntzinger.

Survivors include her children Connie Lowe and Ronald Kiser; grandchildren Angie Weber, Joseph (Callie) Weber, and Ashley Kiser; great grandchildren Christopher (Makayla) Wilson, Nathan Dixon, Connor Weber, Carson Weber, and Jaxon Beach; great great grandchildren Joah, Marci, and Maelie Wilson; and Christine (Howard) Cossin.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwight Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Kiser and her family.
