The Boyd County Coroner and other agencies are investigating after a missing couple from Martin County were found dead Friday evening just outside of Catlettsburg.
Coroner Mark Hammond says agencies responded to a reported crash on 168. It was determined the crash happened several weeks ago.
Hammond says Laura Carter-Broughton, 40, and Donald Griffith, 49, were found dead inside the car.
The couple had been reported missing by family to KSP and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office in late August.
This is a very sad outcome. My prayers are with the family.
