MIDDLE DAWGS UNDEFEATED WITH WINS OVER BELFRY AND JOHNSON CENTRAL

Louisa, Ky — The Lawrence Co. Middle School football team is off to a great start at 3-0 and have picked up two impressive victories over Johnson Central on the road and Belfry at Home.

LCMS 14 Belfry 0 ( Saturday )

This past Saturday the Bulldogs picked up win number three with a shutout of the Belfry Pirates at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium.

William McDavid put the Dawgs on the scoreboard with a touchdown run.

LCMS QB Talan Pollock threw a touchdown pass to Luis Chicko and and Blake Prater scored the two point conversion to set the final score.

#1 Luis Chicko hauling in a pass from Talon Pollock and racing for a score against the Belfry Pirates.

The Bulldog defense was flying to the football and making plays all over the field against the high powered Pirate offense.

LCMS 8 Johnson Central 6 ( August 22nd )

Lawrence Co. went on the road and shocked the Golden Eagles as Talan Pollock threw a 40 yard strike to Logan Ratliff and William McDavid added the two point conversion.

Cody Crum stopped the Golden Eagles on fourth down to seal the victory.

LCMS 24 Boyd Co.18 ( August 29th )

The Dawgs beat a talented Boyd Co. team at Home as Quarterback Talan Pollock threw 2 touchdown passes to Logan Ratliff.

Cody Crum ran for a touchdown and Blake Prater scored all 3 two point conversions.

The Bulldogs remaining schedule

Thursday September 19th at Raceland

Thursday September 26th Greenup Co.

Thursday October 1st at Ashland

All games at 6:00
