Blaine meth bust

BLAINE KY.- On Tuesday afternoon Aug. 6, 2019 on KY Route 201, District 3 Constable Daniel Castle  performed a traffic stop that ended in one person almost dying and all three being arrested on drug charges.

While detaining the driver, Joseph Allen of Webbville and passenger, Candi Jo Kimble of Louisa, the third passenger, Melvin Harmon of Webbville, begun “overdosing” and admitted he had ate a “8 Ball” of pills.

He then stopped breathing and Constable Castle recognized the signs immediately and administered the counteracting drug Narcan for emergency situations. Due to his training and classes in how to use Narcan he was able to save Harmon’s life.

An ambulance was on the scene quickly and transported Harmon to TRMC where he was arrested and later taken into custody and lodged at Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Harmon was arrested for public intoxication of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, drug paraphernalia and a seatbelt violation.

The other two suspects, driver Joseph Allen Davis was arrested for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, failure to wear seatbelt, no insurance and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Carri Jo Kimble was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of unidentified drug, tampering with evidence and drug paraphernalia.

With the drug epidemic here at home and in the nation Narcan is carried by first responders. If you would like more information on the lifesaving drug, classes and how the general public can attain this visit the website www.narcon.com/

He does more himself than the rest of the sheriff’s department combined!

Daniel Castle will you please run for sheriff? You would be the best one yet. 🙂 Please!!

Yes , he needs to run the next time.

Why should he run for Sheriff…already has run of county. Has current Sheriff and fiscal court in his pocket as they are providing county cars and equipment to the constables. So when a lawsuit comes around the county and sheriff will be sued too. He is definitely doing more than few of the deputies as most of his and the other Constables bust are assisted by deputies. Sad state of affairs in Lawrence County.
