Look for more bios each week throughout Spring and Summer. Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry Summer Season opens Saturday June 17 at the Mountain Arts Center.

Susan Scott has been performing on various stages throughout the country since the age of 9Susan Scott is a versatile member of the vocalist troupe for Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry. She has been a member since 2007. Susan was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She now lives in Prestonsburg with her son Kaden.

Susan has been performing on various stages throughout the country since the age of 9. She has been spotted in and around the region with other artists such as the band Breakaway and singer/songwriter Hayley Sullivan.

In 2016, Susan was part of Jenny Wiley Theatre’s stage production of Ring of Fire. From 2007-2014 she was a vocal instructor in the arts education program at the Mountain Arts Center. Susan states that her biggest influences on her music would be Linda Ronstat, Carly Simon, Crystal Gayle, and Martina McBride.

Her favorite part of being a member of the Kentucky Opry is “getting to grow as a performer each season, and meeting the audience after each performance.”

In 2016, Susan was part of Jenny Wiley Theatre’s stage production of Ring of Fire.
