MEET BILLIE JEAN OSBORNE’S KENTUCKY OPRY: MEGHAN BRYANT
Meghan is entering her 3rd season as the full time fiddle player for Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry. She joined the Kentucky Opry Jr. Pro Fiddlers in 2008, and moved to the Jr. Pro band in 2012. She was born in Martin, Ky, and still resides there with her parents Jill Dotson-Bryant and Randy Bryant, fellow Kentucky Opry Jr. Pro and sister Emily, and younger brother Connor.
Meghan has been performing and playing music for 9 years. She says her biggest musical influences are Kentucky fiddlers Kenny Baker, Buddy Thomas, and every local musician who has encouraged her through the years. Megan states that her favorite part of being a member of the Kentucky Opry “getting the opportunity to learn from such amazing musicians and getting to see how happy the music makes the audience and great people that come to support us.”
