Mattie Jane “Patty” Moore passed away peacefully Saturday May 29, 2021.

A daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha Moore, Patty was born on December 31, 1940 in Blaine, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands Franklin Hall, Charles Stratton, and Freeman Gibson.  Also, preceded in death by sisters Ruth Yenichek, Verline Pack, and brother Eddie Moore.

She is survived by daughter Teresa Hall, son Frank Hall II (Megan), grandchildren Kayla Martin (Kyle), Frankie Hall, and Keely Hall, great-grandchildren: Brody Martin and twin Martin girls expected in September 2021, sisters Pauline Hayes (Ralph), Janet Fraley (Ervin), Norma Scarberry (David). Brothers: Vincent Moore (Phyllis) and Don Moore (Marie). Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patty loved her church family and friends. As she was loved by many in return. She was known for her hospitality and generous ways.  Always a caregiver in life. Both through career and personal responsibilities.
She will be sadly missed. Thank you to Hospice of Huntington and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their compassionate care of Mattie in her final days.
A memorial service will be held at Young Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday June 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Moore and her family.
