Mary Christine Bishop Wellman, 85, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Wellman was born April 14, 1934 in Blaine, Kentucky to the late George J. and late Lucy Mae Ferguson Bishop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gerald Wellman in 2008, one son in law, Bobby Levering, and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Stacy.

She is survived by two sons, George (Traci) Wellman and Billy Gerald Wellman; four daughters, Mary (James) Ball, Sharon (Michael) Davies, Kathy (Rick) Stacy, and Blanch Levering.  She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was a retired seamstress for Louisa Carpet Mill and member of the Garden of Hope Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Caden Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery at Busseyville, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 5 after 6:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
