Martin County Solar Project to Host 2nd Career Fair Scheduled for February 6th at Collier Center in Inez, KY

Inez, KY – Martin County Solar Project will hold its second job fair from 10am – 6pm on Tuesday, February 6th at The Collier Center (387 Main Street Inez, KY 41224) to promote open construction positions.
The Martin County Solar Project is located on the old Martiki mine site in Martin County, Kentucky, comprising more than 1,200 acres of the surface coal mine. The two-phased project will connect onsite into Kentucky Power’s 138 kV Inez Substation and is expected to produce up to 200 megawatts (between the two phases) of electricity, enough energy to power the equivalent of more than 33,000 Kentucky homes.
“This second jobs fair for the Martin County Solar Project reflects a commitment to maximizing local employment opportunities for the community and region. We hope all those interested in this historic project will attend.” – Adam Edelen, Founder + CEO, Edelen Renewables.
