MARTIN COUNTY GRAND JURY RETURNS NINE NOVEMBER INDICTMENTS

The Martin County Grand Jury issued 9 returned indictments against 8 individuals on November 7.
 
Those named in the indictment true bills were as the following:
 
* John Mollett, 57, and Lisa Mollett, 45, both of Louisa, were indicted and charged with assistance program frauds/false statements to receive benefits over $100/complicity for allegedly, acting alone or in complicity with each other, making a false statement or misrepresentation or by other means failing to disclose a material fact used in determining their qualification to receive benefits under any assistance program, namely $3,096 in over payment, from April 1, 2015, through October 31, 2016.
 
 
* Mary E. Jude, 42, of Pilgrim, indicted and charged with with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession/use of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes containing a controlled substance and buprenorphine, on October 2.
 
* John Henry Jude, 50, of Debord, indicted and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence for allegedly possessing methamphetamine, and destroying, removing, altering, or concealing physical evidence on October 4, that he believed would be used against him in an official proceeding.
 
* Calvin Fletcher, 60, of Inez, indicted and charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, for allegedly  possessing a counterfeit $100 bill with the intent to defraud or deceive another on October 19.
 
* Robert L. Dillion, 39, of Kermit, West Virginia; indicted and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police and disregarding a stop sign, for allegedly disregarding Constable Bradford Preece signs and signals to stop in attempt to flee an arrest and disregarding a stop sign while in physical control of an ATV operating upon a roadway on August 16.
 
 
* Timothy L. Maynard, 38, of Beauty, indicted and charged with flagrant non-support for allegedly failing to pay court-ordered child support exceeding $19,050.35 from July 13, 2007 through August 31, 2019.
 
Treana Ferrell, a representative for Martin County Child Support, appeared as a witness for the Commonwealth.
 
 
* Jerry L. Mollett, 58, of Tomahawk, indicted and charged with in two separate indictments for flagrant non-support for allegedly failing to pay court-ordered child support exceeding $83,168 from September 1, 2002 through to July 31, 2018; and child support exceeding $28,538.37 from July 29,1993 through to July 31, 2018.
 
Treana Ferrell, a representative for Martin County Child Support, appeared as a witness for the Commonwealth.
