A Martin County Grand Jury returned the following criminal indictments on April 18, 2024.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Anthony Michael Jude

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before January 31, 2024 in Martin County, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Anthony Michael Jude committed the offense of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon by possessing a Norinco brand semi automatic handgun after having been previously convicted of a felony Martin Circuit Court, 11-CR-00075 and 11-CR-00092..

2. That the Defendant, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count(s), is now being charged as a Persistent Felony Offender, in the 2nd degree.

3. The above named Defendant committed the offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle on Suspended or Revoked License by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle while his license to operate said motor vehicle had been suspended or revoked.

4. The above-named Defendant committed the offense of Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle on a Kentucky roadway without proper securities insurance as defined in KRS: 304.39-080.
