HERE ARE THE NAMES & CHARGES OF THE LATEST 18 PEOPLE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY (15 ‘OFFENDERS’, 3 “WEEKENDERS”) OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:

 

James W. Harless, 52, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2019, at 1:26 A.M., by deputy W. Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING (ANHYDROUS AMMONIA),

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 2ND OFFENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON,

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

Carolynn Mills, 49, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on October 21,2019, at 1:28 A.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• REGULATION & TITLE REQUIREMENTS VEHICLE NOT OPERATIONAL ON HIGHWAY,

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE

 

James Eric Collins, 37, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2019, at 2:03 P.M., by deputy Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Darrell E. Jude, 55, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on October 21,2019, at 2:08 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (MOTOR VEHICLE),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE,

• RECKLESS DRIVING.

Billie Horn, 26, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested on October 21, 2019, at 7:08 P.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3RD DEGREE,

• TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE,

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE.

Ronald C. Crum, 41, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 22, 2019, at 11:10 A.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Calvin Fletcher, 60, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on October 22, 2019, at 3:28 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF FORGED INSTRUMENT 1ST DEGREE (IDENTIFY).

Jeff N. Daniel, 45, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 22, 2018 at 3:36 P.M., by officer Blair of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Matthew Clayton Moore, 35, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested in Greenup County, Ky. on October 9, 2019, at 5:05 P.M., by the Greenup County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT)-[2 SEPARATE COUNTS CHARGES],

• ESCAPE 3RD DEGREE,

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER,

• RESISTING ARREST.

Matthew Clayton Moore was transferred from the Greenup County Detention Center to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville on October 24, 2019, at 5:22 P.M., to be booked on a bench warrant from Martin County, on the charge of:

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).

Bobby Junior Blevins, 34, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on October 24, 2019, at 5:45 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE.

Tommy D. Evans, 41, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on October 24, 2019, at 10:18 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 1ST OFFENSE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES),

• LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT-FAILURE TO RENDER AID OR ASSISTANCE.

 

Brian Howell, 40, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on October 24, 2019, at 10:25 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

•OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Noah L. Luster, 47, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested on October 25, 2019, at 12:19 A.M.,by chief deputy Aaron Blevins, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Brittney D. Collins, 26, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on October 26, 2019, at 8:47 P.M., by Dist 4 Constable Brad Preece, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT

Jeffery N. Spence, 28, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 27, 2019,at 12:00 A.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Sherry A. Horn, 43, of Debord, Kentucky; was taken into custody on October 19, 2019, at 12:17 P.M., by deputy Eddie McCoy, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Kenneth A. Rose, 27, of Inez, Kentucky; was taken into custody on October 25, 2019, at 1:31 A.M., by chief deputy Aaron Blevins, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Tommy E. Enyart, 53, of Warfield, Kentucky; was taken into custody on October 25, 2019, at 5:50 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
