THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC HAS CAUSED NEARLY EVERY POLICE AGENCY’S ARREST NUMBERS TO PLUNGE STEEPLY, MOST DROPPED TO LOW LEVELS.
ONLY THREES ARRESTS, ALONG WITH A ‘WEEKENDER’ PICK UP TO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY IN THE PAST WEEK. TWO MORE MARTIN COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES:
Jeffery N. Spence, 29, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 25, 2020, at 9:50 P.M., by deputy Jason Arms, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),
• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE,
• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,
• MENACING .
Miller Cline, 22, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 26, 2020, at 10:24 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Ralph Conrad, 34, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on March 27, 2020, at 12:38 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.
Matthew S. Daniels, 29, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 28, 2020, at 4:28 P.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),
• MENACING,
• RESISTING ARREST,
• TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE.
Carl Douglas Daniels Jr., 34, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 29, 2020, at 1:28 A.M., by Constable Tony Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 2, and was charged with:
• BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE,
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,
• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,
• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 2ND OFFENSE.
Carl Douglas Daniels Sr., 57, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 29, 2020, at 1:31 A.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:
• BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE,
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
