THERE WERE 13 ARRESTS IN MARTIN COUNTY FROM MARCH 18 THRU MARCH 23, 2018; ALSO SEPARATELY; THERE WAS A MARTIN COUNTY RESIDENT WHO WAS ARRESTED IN PAINTSVILLE IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

5 OF THE 13 ‘ARRESTS’ IN MARTIN COUNTY WERE ONLY FOR OF THOSE WHO TURN THEMSELVES IN TO BE PICKED UP TO SERVE JAIL TIME FOR GUILTY PLEA ‘WEEKEND’ JAIL SENTENCES.

THE NAMES OF ALL 14 ARRESTED ARE THE FOLLOWING:

 

Jenious MaynardJenious Maynard, 33, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on March 24, 2018, at 2:04 A.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • IMPROPER EQUIPMENT, • DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shaunda CrumShaunda Crum, 31, of Inez, Kentucky; was taken into custody and booked on March 25, 2018, at 4:17 P.M., by deputy M. Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail time: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Casey C. BoothCasey C. Booth, 21, of Beauty, Kentucky; was arrested on March 27, 2018, at 2:28 A.M., by deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY, • MENACING.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alice LucasAlice Lucas, 28, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on March 27, 2018, at 1:05 P.M., by deputy Billy Patrick of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

Charles Taft Garland JrCharles Taft Garland Jr,. 35, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on March 27, 2018, at 11:05 P.M., by trooper Mike Goble of the Kentucky State Police-Post #9-Pikeville, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 1ST OFFENSE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES), • IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE, • IMPROPER EQUIPMENT, • FAILURE TO NOTIFY ADDRESS CHANGE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

Murphy, 21, of Breeden, West Virginia; was arrested on March 27, 2018, at 11:34 P.M., by deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL) • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – CODEINE, • PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeffrey A. LooneyJeffrey A. Looney, 25, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 28, 2018, at 1:32 A.M., by deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

 

 

 

 

 

Hagan JohnsonHagan Johnson, 33, of Lexington, Kentucky; was arrested on March 28, 2018, at 7:45 P.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS HEROIN), • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (LSD).

Claudia M. FanninClaudia, M. Fannin, 34, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 8:47 P.M., by trooper Mike Goble of the Kentucky State Police-Post #9-Pikeville, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

David U. WhittDavid U. Whitt, 41, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on March 30, 2018, at 2:01 A.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON.

 

 

 

 

 

Kpdy HarlessKody Harless, 19, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was taken into custody and booked on March 30, 2018, at 4:03 P.M., in Martin County Court, by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail time: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
