HERE ARE THE NAMES AND CHARGES OF THE LATEST 25 PEOPLE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY (22 ‘OFFENDERS’, AND 3 “WEEKENDERS”) OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:

Marcus Mondy, 37, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 15, 2020, at 12:18 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.

Regina D. Cline, 44, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 15, 2020, at 4:31 P.M., by trooper B. Hall, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Eric Phillip Crum, 36, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on January 15, 2020, at 9:30 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Charles R. Crum, 37, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on January 15, 2020, at 9:30 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING THREE SEPARATE BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

Carl Douglas Daniels, 56, of Tutor Key, Kentucky; was arrested on January 17, 2020, at 12:25 A.M., by trooper Billy E. Holbrook, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Carl D. Daniels Jr., 34, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on January 17, 2020, at 12:33 A.M., by deputy David Adams,of the Martin County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• SERVING TWO SEPARATE BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

Samuel R. Porter, 24, of Davella,Kentucky; was arrested on January 17,2020, at 10:15 P.M.,by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000.

John M Stevens, 39, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on January 17 ,2020, at 10:17 P.M.,by trooper Billy E. Holbrook, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE),

•DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Zachary R. Finley, 26, of Inez ,Kentucky; was arrested on January 17,2020,at 10:25 P.M.,by trooper Joseph Weddington, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, & was charged with:

• REAR LICENSE NOT ILLUMINATED,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FAILURE TO SURRENDER REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.

Charles S. Fletcher, 43, of Davella, Kentucky; was arrested on January 17, 2020, at 10:29 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000.

Charles L. Mills, 25, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 17, 2020, at 11:15 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

  • CHARGES UNKNOWN.

Christopher Lee Maynard, 37, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on January 18, 2020, at 11:29 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE 3RD OR > OFFENSE IN 12 MONTHS.

Dennis Maynard, 34, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on January 18, 2020, at 11:31 P.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE 3RD OR > OFFENSE IN 12 MONTHS,

• TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE.

Jimmy Cline, 28, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 20, 2020, at 9:55 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

  • CHARGES UNKNOWN.

Lori A. Chapman-Luster, 41, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 20, 2020, at 11:13 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING TWO SEPARATE BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

Alexandria M. Ball, 27, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on January 21, 2020, at 2:22 A.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT VIOLATIONS,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

Nicholas Maynard, 19, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on January 21, 2020, at 2:22 A.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Jamie Walter Boyd, 35, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on January 21, 2020, at 9:19 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

Jerry L. Mollett, 58, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on January 21, 2020, at 10:44 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Casey Ervin Webb, 33, of INEZ, Kentucky; was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 4:49 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT),

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

• MENACING,

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 1ST DEGREE,

• RESISTING ARREST.

Mitchell L Moore, 49, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 5:07 P.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Glenna C. Parsley, 56, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 5:19 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT

Jasper R. Staton, 49, of Meally, Kentucky; was taken into custody on January 17, 2020, at 3:12 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Adam Dalton, 23, of Inez, Kentucky; was taken into custody on January 17, 2020, at 4:33 P.M., by the Johnson County Sheriff Department,to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”:
