MARTIN COUNTY ARREST LIST – FEBRUARY 7-14, 2019

HERE ARE THE NAMES AND CHARGES OF THE LATEST 14 PEOPLE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY (13 ‘OFFENDERS’, AND 1 “WEEKENDER”) OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS

Bradley S. Preece, 34, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 7, 2020, at 9:22 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• HINDERING PROSECUTION OR APPREHENSION-2ND DEGREE.

Sinead A. McGinnis, 29, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 7, 2020, at 9:30 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Billy Joe Maynard, 46, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 7, 2020, at 9:36 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Casey Ervin Webb. 33, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 8, 2020, at 9:26 A.M., by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Donald R. Delong, 40, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 8, 2020, at 10:49 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• ASSAULT 3RD – PEACE OFFICER – NON-COMMUNICABLE BODILY FLUID,

• RESISTING ARREST,

• SERVING TWO SEPARATE BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT

 

Latasha Delong, 28, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on February 8, 2020, at 11:03 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• ASSAULT 3RD – PEACE OFFICER – NON-COMMUNICABLE BODILY FLUID.

Ivan Maynard, 59, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested on February 9, 2020, at 1:53 A.M., by deputy David Adams,of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Tammy Sue Johnson, 43 ,of Dingess, West Virginia; was taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, from the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville, on February 9, 2020, at 6:40 P.M., after she was arrested in Pike County on February 9, 2020, at 1:02 A.M., by deputy Patrick Coleman, of the Pike County Sheriff Department, on the charge of:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500, in Pike County,

• NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES, out of Martin County, and was ordered to be held on no bond and to serve 30 days in jail for the charge by Judge Chafin, During her booking Tammy Sue Johnson was additionally charged with:

• ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE – INMATE ASSAULT ON CORRECTIONAL EMPLOYEE.

Cody R. Gullett, 18, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on February 11, 2020, at 10:57 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES), 2ND OFFENSE.

Ashley R. Salmons, 28, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 7:23 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENCE.

Terry M. Evans, 32, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 9:10 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 1ST OFFENSE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES).

Alice Lucas, 30, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 13, 2020, at 4:56 A.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

Jimmy Cline, 28, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 13, 2020, at 10:18 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Dennis Maynard, 34, of Lovely, Kentucky; was taken into custody on February 11, 2020, at 11:22 A.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
