HERE ARE THE NAMES & CHARGES OF THE LATEST TWELVE PEOPLE (11 ARRESTS,1 “WEEKENDER”) WHO WERE ARRESTED & TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:


Barbara Gordon, 40, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on December 28, 2020, at 1:26 A.M.,by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police,Post 9, Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.


Emily Chapman, 33, of Lovely,Kentucky; was arrested on December 29,2020, at 9:57 A.M., by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police,Post 9, Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Brandon L. Chapman, 36, of Lovely,Kentucky; was arrested on December 29, 2020, at 10:05 A.M.,by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9, Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Diana Lynn McKinley, 66, of Lovely,Kentucky; was arrested on December 30, 2020, at 8:17 P.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

 

Chelsey Jolas, 28, of Cookeville, Tennessee; was arrested on December 31, 2020, at 1:05 A.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

 

Jasper R. Staton, 50, of Meally, Kentucky; was arrested on January 2, 2021, at 12:25 A.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE-1ST OFFENSE.

 

Christopher S. Jones, 38, of Richmond,Kentucky; was arrested originally in Fayette County, by deputy Nikki Ten, of the Fayette County Sheriff Department, and was later transferred to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville,in Johnson County, on January 5, 2021,at 3:23 P.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS) warrants out of Martin County Circuit Court.

 


Lydia M. Fields, 26, of Maysville, Kentucky; was arrested on January 6, 2021, at 2:32 P.M.,by Constable James Bradford Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, & was charged with:

• BAIL JUMPING 1ST DEGREE,

• SHOCK PROBATION IN FELONY CONVICTIONS (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN),

• PROMOTING CONTRABAND – 1ST DEGREE (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Martin T. Howell, 42, of Inez ,Kentucky; was arrested on January 6, 2021, at 5:34 P.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

CHARGES UNKNOWN.


Tonya Hensley, 44, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County,Ky., on January 6,2020, at 11:12 P.M., by the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE)

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.


Cheryl R. Delong, 39, of Tomahawk,Kentucky; was arrested on January 7, 2021, at 10:44 P.M.,by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

• NO OTHER STATE REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO SPECIAL PERMIT TO EXCEED WEIGHT HEIGHT WIDTH OR LENGTH LIMIT,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• REGISTRATION & TITLE REQUIREMENTS VEH NOT OPER ON HIGHWAY,

• FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE,2ND OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – DELIVER/MANUFACTURE.

Bruce Bowen Jr., 38, of Debord, Kentucky; was taken into custody in Boyd County, Ky., by Chief Cameron Logan, of the Catlettsburg Police Department, and was later transferred to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville, in Johnson County, on January 4, 2020, at 6:15 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
