HERE ARE THE NAMES & CHARGES OF THE LATEST SIXTEENPEOPLE (14 ARRESTS, 2 “WEEKENDER”) WHO WERE ARRESTED & TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:


James D. Fletcher, 35, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, Ky., on April 25, 2021, at 12:41 P.M., by officer Bill Ramey, of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

Preston V. Jackson, 56, of Columbus, Ohio; was arrested on April 25, 2021, at 3:46 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1E) – 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Timothy A. Mullett, 24, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County,on April 25,2021,at 11:20 P.M.,by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9 – Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE – DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
 

Amanda R. Mills, 37, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on April 26, 2021; at 1:04 A.M., by trooper Tracy Salyer, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9 – Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• FALSELY REPORTING AN INCIDENT.

 

Tonya Hensley, 44, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on in Lawrence County, on April 26, 2021,at 2:58 A.M.,by deputy Tyler Laney,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 
 

Ike L. Montgomery, 32, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on April 27, 2021,at 6:42 P.M.,by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9 – Pikeville, Ky., & was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL.

 

Cheyenne N. May, 24, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on April 29, 2021,at 3:31 P.M.,by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR,

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

Estella Mills-Justice, 45, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on May 3, 2021, at 3:15 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

 

 
Julian Alex Preece, 22, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on May 6, 2021, at 11:01 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Samuel R. Porter, 25, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on May 7, 2021, at 2:52 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.


Billy R. Perry, 46, of Kermit, West Virginia; was arrested on May 7, 2021, at 8:31 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

 

Alexandria D. Moore, 29, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, on May 10, 2021, at 10:24 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

 

Garland R. Mills-Jr., 47, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on May 12, 2021, at 12:33 P.M.,by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE)

 
 

Ron Eric Charles, 38, of Offutt, Kentucky; was arrested on May 12, 2021, at 12:34 P.M.,by Sheriff John H. Kirk,of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Asiaa Meeks, 24, of Inez, Kentucky; was taken into custody on May 12, 2021, at 11:01 A.M., by trooper Hall, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, “weekender”:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
