Margaret Pigmon, 95, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Three Rivers Medical Center.
Margaret was born September 9, 1923 to the late Davis and Dora (Blackburn) Martin. Margaret was a Christian and attended Louisa Free Will Baptist Church and First Christian Church in Louisa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Willard Merritt and Walter Scott “Blackie” Pigmon; and 6 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children Glennis Britton and Walter (Sherry) Pigmon; grandchildren Shelby (Anthony) Thompson, Allie Pigmon, Shawn Britton, Sabrina (James) Smith, Shadrin (Becky) Britton; 9 great grandchildren; brother Joe (Juanita) Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Pigmon will be conducted Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2018 from noon until time of service.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Pigmon.
