ARREST BLITZ: 21 ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY IN JUST UNDER FOUR DAYS, MARCH 8-11

INDICTED ‘GANG OF 13’ MEMBERS ARRESTED IN METH MAKING RING

LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – MARCH 8-12, 2018

THERE WAS A MAJOR ARREST BLITZ LATE LAST WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND BY LAW ENFORCEMENT IN LAWRENCE COUNTY. 21 PEOPLE WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, WITH THE MAJORITY OF THEM ON SERIOUS ON CRIMINAL CHARGES, IN JUST SLIGHTLY UNDER 4 DAYS, IN THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 8 TO MARCH 11. IN THE FIRST 7 DAYS OF MARCH THERE WERE JUST 8 ARRESTS.

IN ALL, 22 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY FROM MARCH 8-12. THAT LARGE ARREST NUMBER IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, CAUSED THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE TO BRIEFLY HIT THE 300 INMATE MARK BEING HOUSED DURING THE WEEKEND WHEN THEY ARE TO HOLD A MAXIMUM OF 225. PLUS LAWRENCE COUNTY ACCOUNTED FOR OVER 35% OF THE TOTAL ARREST NUMBERS BOOKED AT THE BSRDC IN THE PAST FIVE DAY PERIOD FROM MARCH 8-12; 22 OUT OF 61 PEOPLE BROUGHT TO THE JAIL FOR INCARCERATION. TO COMPARE, MARTIN COUNTY HAD JUST 4 ARRESTS TOTAL IN THE LAST SAME 5 DAY PERIOD.

HERE ARE THOSE 22 ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY MARCH 8-12 AS THE FOLLOWING:

 

Danielle SparksDanielle Sparks, 30, of Olive Hill, Kentucky; was arrested on March 8, 2018, at 4:41 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adam WatsonAdam Watson, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on March 8, 2018, at 4:45 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joshua TriplettJoshua Triplett, 24, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 12:07 A.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michelle ShawMichelle Shaw, 27, of Kermit, West Virginia; was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 12:08 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brandon L. BurchettBrandon L. Burchett, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 12:24 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (COCAINE).

 

 

 

 

Alisha M.MillerAlisha M.Miller, 28, of Mazie, Kentucky; was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 6:34 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Skaggs, 30, of Mazie, Kentucky; was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 6:40 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT OF IDENTITY OF ANOTHER W/O CONSENT, • RESISTING ARREST, • CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amanda JordanAmanda Jordan, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 6:50 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE, 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eugene L. CochranEugene L. Cochran, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on March 9, 2018, at 9:13 P.M., by patrolman officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • BURGLARY, 2ND DEGREE, • POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS.

Sierra D. CaudillSierra D. Caudill, 32, of Louisa, was arrested on March 10, 2018, at 4:31 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Marcum, 36, of Vanceburg, Kentucky; was arrested on March 10, 2018, at 6:53 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000, • RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I, • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $1,000 OR MORE, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.

 Billy J. FitzpatrickBilly J. Fitzpatrick, 46, of Louisa, was arrested on March 10, 2018, at 10:40 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 2ND OFFENSE.

Steven ComptonSteven Compton, 24, of Louisa, was arrested on March 12, 2018, at 2:09 P.M., by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.
