LOUISA POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 3 NIGHTS BUSTS ANOTHER THREE LOCAL RESIDENTS FOR METH POSSESSION

Out with the old in the last of 2018. And in with the new (but yet the same old situation) with the start of 2019.

 

Just as The Louisa Police Department ended 2018 with arresting a trio of Louisa residents for Meth possession and other charges after stopping a vehicle for a vehicle traffic violation, the LPD began 2019 just a hour or so after the year change with once again with a drug raid, which led to another trio of Louisa residents getting caught with meth and other criminal charges. 

 

According to the reporting, Louisa Police Department sergeant Steven Wilburn, and patrol officers Hunter James and Shane James, with assistance from Lawrence County Sheriff Department deputies and Lawrence County constables led a raid search in the early A.M. morning hours of January 1 in Louisa.

 

Three individuals were arrested after the drug raid. Those 3 individuals were identified as: Vickie Gayle Vanhorn, age 45, Elouise Scott, age 35, and Jerry L. Levering, age 59; all of whom are from Louisa,

 

Jerry Levering and Elouise Scott were each charged with:

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), 

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

 

Vicky Gayle Vanhorn was also charged with 

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

 • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS. Vanhorn was additionally slapped with 3 other charges:

 • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,

•   CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
