Loyal “Tip” Meade

1937 — 2017

Loyal “Tip” Meade, 80, of Louisa went home to be with the Lord on Saturday Nov. 25, 2017 following a long illness.

Tip was born March 3,1937 at Nats Creek, KY the son of the late Earl and Flossie Miller Meade. He was a retired bricklayer for the Inco. Corporation and a member of the Fallsburg Tabernacle.

Survivors include his daughter Sharri Leigh Parks and husband Edwin of Jamestown, NC; a son Gregory Thomas Meade and wife Missy of Stanton, KY; two step daughters Margaret Ann Jenson and Lenore Lee Belile; a step-son Thomas Franklin Schoenstra; a brother Lloyd Meade also of Louisa; two sisters Lorene Absten and Juanita Branham; fourteen grandchildren and a great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Fallsburg Tabernacle with Rev. Greg Caudill, Rev. Jerry Hughes, and Rev. Martin Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Nats Creek, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
