A Johnson County woman who was just recently indicted for meth trafficking found herself facing another count of the same charge when police went to arrest her.

Kentucky State Police Post 9-Pikeville trooper Mark Salyer went to pick up Samatha Leigh Fyffe-Jarrell, 34, of  Louisa, KY., late Tuesday morning, December 19, after she was indicted by a Johnson County grand jury last week for two charges:

When trooper Salyer asked Ms. Fyffe-Jarrell for her driver’s license, she told him it was in her purse and said he could get it out. But when trooper Salyer opened the purse, he allegedly found a bag of meth, along with some digital scales inside.

Samatha Fyffe-Jarrell was taken into custody by trooper Salyer and was additionally charged with: *TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > – (> OR = 2GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), and *DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
