Louisa area residents are on alert after local police officials reported of an attempted child abduction early Friday evening.
According to a public service emergency alert announcement by the Louisa Police Department, on Friday, June 25, 2021, at around 5:15 P.M., the Louisa Police Department responded to a report of an attempted child abduction in the area of Gene Wilson Boulevard.
The description of the attempted kidnapping suspect was reported to have been a man, of an average build, brown hair, facial hair around the mouth area, and wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt.
The Louisa Police Department is asking people who live in and around the Gene Wilson Boulevard area to review their security surveillance footage.
