Children across the nation benefit every year from this wonderful foundation. Waking up to presents under the tree. This year will be the 10th annual “Toys for Tots” event hosted by The Louisa Police Department and The Louisa Fire Department. The communities help is needed to make Christmas happen for all kids.
Their annual fundraising is continuing at the Louisa Walmart now thru Dec. 14th. Other locations include The Louisa Police Station and The Louisa Fire Department.
The Ugly Sweater 5K Fun Run Race will be held Saturday, Dec. 15th at 2pm at Bulldog Lane. Cash or toy donations for kids in need will be accepted. There is a $15 pre-register fee or $20 day of the race. You can register online at tristateracer.com or contact Matt Brown, Daniel Ward, Wes Kingsmore or Shila Pack. Registration forms also can be picked up at the Louisa Police & Fire Departments or by asking a member for a form.
