Louisa Police Department Announces Arrests in Stolen Camper Investigation

Louisa, KY – Following a thorough investigation by the Louisa Police Department, Kevin Totten, 47, of Canada, KY, has been arrested in connection with the theft of a stolen camper from Louisa. The arrest was made possible due to collaborative efforts between the Louisa Police Department and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Based on information provided by Louisa Police, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the stolen camper on Church Fork Road in Inez, KY. Totten was subsequently arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property valued at $10,000 or more.

Additionally, Totten’s girlfriend, Kayla Garn, 39, of Louisa, was arrested on an unrelated warrant during the investigation.

The case will be presented to the Lawrence County Grand Jury, where additional charges may be pursued.

The Louisa Police Department extends its gratitude to the Lawrence County and Martin County Sheriff’s Departments for their invaluable assistance in resolving this case.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to Louisa by Perry’s Wrecker Service.
