LOUISA MIDDLE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM PLAYS WELL IN TRANSYLVANIA TEAM CAMP

Lexington, Ky. — Louisa middle Girls basketball team traveled to Transylvania university late last week to participate in a summer basketball team camp and the Lady Dawgs played well as the team went 5-1 with the only loss coming to eventual champion Casey Co. in the single elimination tournament.

Louisa Middle went 5-0 in pool play during the camp as the Dawgs defeated TK Stone 38-24 in the first game, Spencer Co. 33-5, Perry Meridian 25-13, Spencer Co. 18-14 and Meade Co. 20-17 .

Casey Co. beat the Lady Dawgs 35-23 in the tourney to wrap up the team camp.

Paul Preece, Leanna Preece and Katina Ward will coach the team this upcoming fall as LMS will compete in the OVC once again and looks to have a really good team.
