Russell, Ky. —  After a 5-3 win over Russell on Monday night the Louisa Middle baseball team remained perfect at 7-0 on the season. The team is under first year head coach Matt Maynard and has played well after losing a ton of players off of last year’s team.

LMS hurler Corbin Fairchild pitching against Raceland picking up the win.LMS pitcher Jackson Feltner gets the save vs Raceland Corbin Fairchild picked up his fourth win of the year at Russell going five innings and striking out six, he also went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI’s. Jackson Feltner went 3-3 with 3 RBI’s for the winners.

Before spring break the Dawgs took on a good Raceland team and came away with a home victory. 

Corbin Fairchild started and picked up the win going four innings allowing six hits and striking out five.

Jackson Feltner picked up the save in relief. Danny Hall went 3-4 with a triple and two singles along with a couple RBI’s, Corbin Fairchild collected two singles in the victory. 

The Dawgs have victories over Russell (twice), Raceland, Martin Co. (twice), Prestonsburg and Boyd Co. so far.

Monday May 16 at Raceland 5:30
