Louisa residents,

Louisa, KY: Since becoming Mayor in 2014, one of the most common requests that I have heard from our Water & Sewer customers is the ability to view and pay their Utility bill online.

Today, I am excited to announce that we are rolling out our new online bill pay portal. Customers may sign up for this service, at www.cityoflouisa.org and clicking on the “Pay Your Water Bill Online” button. You will need your account number, current balance and last meter reading to sign up, all of which can be found on your most recent bill or by calling the water office between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, at 606-638-9322 or 606-638-4566.

From the bill pay portal, customers will be able to access current and past usage amounts as well as view and pay their bill, all free of charge. Customers who have signed up and given their approval, will also be able to receive email reminders to pay their bill and will receive any important messages from the Water Dept., such as boil water advisories.

Today’s announcement is part of a wide ranging and ongoing effort to modernize our Utilities department to become more efficient and customer friendly. We hope to continue to make improvements in the future.

—Mayor Harold Slone
