LOUISA, KY. — On Friday February 26 at 19:27 the Louisa Police Department was dispatched to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 3 & 23.

Gregory Arrington

According to the witness report, the 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by Andrew Roxby, 34 of Pittston, PA, was traveling north on US 23 when he was unable to stop his vehicle at the intersection causing it to strike the side of other vehicle.

Mr. Roxby stated to officers that as he approached the intersection that the 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by Gregory Arrington, 56, of Louisa began to pull out in front of him, mis-timing the change of the lights. Mr. Arrington was treated on scene and transported to TRMC were he was pronounced deceased.

Detective Hunter James is in charge of the Investigation.

I wish they had made an overpass with ramps at this intersection. Many lives and injuries would have been prevented.

As to the overpass, I was at the meetings when Frankfort held public meetings and the public wanted it but the Clevengers did not because it would have possibly affected their profits due to people having to use an exit ramp to stop for gas. They and Joe Young stopped it cold despite what we the people wanted. The little people lost again. And most recently, Mr. Arrington lost due to profits above people.

If there is actual proof the Clevengers are responsible for the way the intersection was built, then they should be sued and held accountable for their decisions. Greed at its best, nothing but fat greedy low life’s.

The plans originally were to build an overpass. That’s when Clevingers put there little building across Rt3 claiming it was going to be a new business to thwart the state from doing an overpass. My family owned adjoining property and I still have prints of the proposed overpass and ramps leading to it. Clevingers used to pull a lot of weight around here but not so much anymore since the old man died. THAT’S why there’s no overpass and people continue to die at that intersection.
